Reuben wanted to be a poet, but ended up instead becoming a copywriter, events manager, food journalist and then sake sommelier. After he was awarded Young Sake Ambassador of the Year 2021/22, he was invited to Japan during COVID by the Japanese Embassy. He’s been going back there every few months since for business.

During his off-hours, he likes to drink highballs.
